StatSeva is dedicated to providing medical care to the underserved population in rural villages, at no cost to them. Over 200 million children worldwide are deprived of access to healthcare. In India, especially in rural villages, adults and children live for years without ever seeing a doctor, often not having access to care until they are suffering from severe medical conditions such as end-stage liver disease, end-stage renal disease, a heart attack or stroke. It is not uncommon for people to die in villages without any answers for the cause of death.
Citizens of these communities do not receive proper education on basic hygiene and preventative medicine. As a result, many adults and children are living with serious undiagnosed & untreated conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic renal insufficiency, COPD, hyperlipidemia and even cancer. When diagnoses do happen, it is often too late and there is already end-organ damage. Unfortunately, for families in these situations, it can become financially challenging which often leads to selling of their home, land, animals or having their children work to pay for even basic medical care. StatSeva is dedicated to increasing awareness and education to these communities, while also providing free medical care.
How do we plan to help?
By using a Telemedicine equipped Mobile Medical Clinic, our team will be examining, diagnosing, treating and educating those in an entire village on the health and the well-being of their family. On-board each Mobile Medical Clinic, there is always a physician, nurse, assistant and bus driver. StatSeva’s bus was custom built and is equipped with a check-in counter, patient exam room with curtain, bathroom, EKG machine, oxygen tank, urine analysis testing machine, blood testing machine, air-conditioning, power generator and state of the art technology that will enable each patient to have their own medical health record for the first time in their life. If a specialist is needed, the physician on board will be able to consult a U.S. Board Certified physician via Telemedicine.
